Deborah Collard, who is Cherokee by blood, enjoys reaching back into the past to connect her with the spiritual world.  The way she celebrates this passion is through her studies of the paranormal.  Deborah considers herself an 'oldie' in this venue,  knowing that 30 years ago the only tools she used to investigate with were her flashlight and whomever she could drag along with her to see if seh could find answers to the many questions that wandered through her mind.  As technology progressed so did she and many years later has a very solid team of paranormal investigators.  The Team is NAPS - Northeastern Alabama Paranormal Society based out of Guntersville, Alabama.  NAPS was officially formed in 2003.  Deborah teaches workshops, does lectures and panels on the paranormal.  It is important to her that ghost hunters know just what they are doing and the proper way to do it.  Deborah has two published books to her credit.  These books are "Haunted Southern Nights™" Vol. 1, Ghost Hunting the Basics and "Haunted Southern Nights™" Vol. 2, The Haunted Backyard.  Deborah continued her studies in the paranormal by completing post secondary education offered by the HCH Institute under the direction of Loyd Auerbach to receive a certification in Parapsychological Studies.  For the past several years Deborah has trained many paranormal investigators and continues to lecture and panel in her region on the paranormal.  She also assists law enforcement agencies, private investigators and families using her psychic abilities to help find closure of not only the cases but the 'not knowing' associated with them for the families.    Deborah is an active member of the Parapsychological Association and of the United Cherokee Ani-Yun-Wiya Nation.  Also she is a member of the Alabama State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.  Deborah is the host of  NAPS Live Radio "Haunted Southern Nights™" which airs live each Tuesday night on Blogtalk Radio.

Psychic Abilities:  Having psychic ability is sometimes a blessing, sometimes a curse.  My psychic abilities consist of clairvoyance, clairsentience and clairaudience with familial precognition.  I've helped many with all of these 'gifts'.  Remote viewing is something that I've done to assist families with loved ones lost by violent crimes.  I see through the eyes of the victim which granted is better than seeing through the eyes of the perpetrator.  It is also something that I utilize as a shychic to help others see into.  Also I can use remote viewing techniques to do as one would say "a psychic reading".  My preparation for these events is very disciplined as I meditate and follow meticulous rituals to prepare my mind for the openness needed prior to delving into such a feat.  Helping people through my psychic abilities has been my salvation.  The Creator blesses us in many ways, some of us differently than others.  I must put forth the effort to do the "right" thing with this blessed gift by sharing and teaching others.  I hope to have many opportunities to do just that before my time on this earth has ended in this physical form.
